Description

Studio Ghibli is famously a hand-drawn 2D animation house, but every Ghibli film from Princess Mononoke (1997) onward uses computer-generated elements selectively — backgrounds extended in 3D, smoke and water particle work, certain creatures (the boar god in Mononoke, parts of the rolling castle in Howl's).
